Our Free
Resource Guide

I created this Resource Guide
for our clients. This gives them a large number of links to a variety of
Internet-based resources. I have made a few comments here and there in this
guide, but most pages give you numerous links to a wide range of online resources.
Are you concerned about:
-
Your child's diagnosis?
(diagnoses?)
-
Your child's therapy?
-
Your child's medications?
-
Your child's diet? nutrition?
-
Your child's social development?
-
Your child's physical
development?
-
Your child's coordination?
-
Your child's self esteem?
-
Your child's behavior at home? at
school? in public?
-
Your child's education?
-
Your child's future?
-
Your child's developmental
process?

We are concerned about all of these
too!
How
can you keep up on all of these
concerns?
We will keep you informed!

As you probably already know, ADHD (Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder) is a developmental
problem. When children develop appropriately, they do not have ADHD
symptoms. From our experience, the key to solving the ADHD
riddle
is the developmental process.
And, of course, when children have
developmental problems, they exhibit symptoms. Your service providers (medical,
psychological, behavioral, physical, or educational) are trained to recognize
these symptoms. They alert you to these problems so you can obtain an official
diagnosis.
But, that’s only half the story, because you need
to know and understand all of this as well. So, we have developed our Developmental Resource
Guide to educate you and guide you through the complex (and often
conflicting) information of this field.
Our Developmental Resource Guide is designed:
-
To help you learn what
you need to learn so that you can deal with this.
-
To organize the
various aspects of developmental problems. It has
specific sections devoted to each of the diagnostic
categories of developmental problems.
-
To give you access to
sites which provide you with all you need to
understand the issues, organize yourself, and deal
with them.
-
To point you to
resources for the information, tools, techniques,
and services you need. If you cannot find what you
are looking for in our guide, let us know!
-
To keep you informed
about the latest information, resources, programs,
and research which you need to answer all of your
questions about your child.

Isabel and I specialize in developmental problems.
We work with children who have developmental problems. We developed
this site so that our client's parents can understand what is happening
with their child and what resources are available. Now we are making it
available to everyone.
Here's the deal, Our Developmental Resource Guide is
broad-based, showing information and sites which are traditional as well
as alternative. We think that parents need to make informed decisions
about what to do for their child with developmental problems. We
designed this site to help you make those informed decisions..

We want you to understand that the Developmental Resource Guide
is exclusive. It is free, but you will only find it here. If you want
access to it, you need to sign-up for it, now.
If you want to share the Developmental Resource Guide
with others, We would appreciate that. And, they can start here, just
like you did. Inside the guide, there is a link to this page in the
sidebar. You can share that link with your friends. Thanks for helping
us keep this exclusive.

When you
sign-up, you get notifications about changes to the
Developmental Resource Guide and other news which we
think is important for those interested in the
developmental process and in developmental problems. We
will also send notices about other things of interest for parents of
children with developmental problems. We will probably send less than 4
emails to you per month.
Generally, you can expect us to send you
free stuff, or information about programs we are involved in. Most of
what we send out to you will be what we have learned in working with our
clients.
Maybe you do not know our
frame-of-reference. We are not very concerned about the diagnosis or the
symptoms themselves. We help our clients re-engage the developmental
process and get back on track, developmentally. Any mailing we do to this list will be to
keep you informed about how you can do the same with your children, in
your own home. If this is important for you and your child, sign-up now,
so we can keep you informed about what you need to know and you can do.
Signing-up puts
you on our Developmental Resource List. This is an
opt-in list. You may opt-out at any time. We will send a
newsletter to this list about once per quarter.
What it
boils down to is that for you to get
access to the Developmental Resource Guide, the
free goodies we send out to our list, and information
about what you can do at home for your child,
you need to sign-up in the form we put in the sidebar,
now.
As a result, we keep you informed about the Resource
Guide and other news about the developmental
process, about developmental problems, and about
our programs.
